Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting the electric faults according to the manufacture process to maintain high reliability level of land equipment.
  • Leading the shift team and ensure all activities are doing according to the manufacture recommendations.
  • Leading all planned projects like overhauling and refurbishment of electric systems.
  • Carrying out the planned, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance at all land equipment and other equipment as necessary in the business unit.
  • Following up and ensure implementation of safety regulations for all maintenance activities in the land equipment.
  • Applying the safety and engineering standard to be aligned with SOP and Risk assessment.
  • Ensuring full implementation of effective reporting system and KPI for Engineering Department like PM compliance and EM and CM workorders
  • Conducting TBTs and safety awareness to all shift team members.
  • Ensuring a record of all shift activities in the Maximo system.
  • Leading any work related to contractors or agents visits in his shift.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor Educational Degree in Electric or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Overall, 1-3 years experience in engineering electric systems (CAN-BUS) of earth movers machines and land equipment.
  • Fully Conversant with Safety Procedures.
  • Experiences in electric systems of land equipment.
  • Prefer to have experience in the ports and terminals equipment.
  • Very Good English language both spoken and written
  • Very Good in Ms Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Leadership skills in leading a vast number of people to achieve DPWS targets.
  • Excellent initiative and Entrepreneurship skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with various departments.
  • Customer Service Orientation Teamwork & Cooperation.
