Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution.
• Conduct basic testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure proper functionality.
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards including NEC guidelines for low and high voltage systems.
• Experience working on construction sites or in construction environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
