Electrical Draftsman

Job Title: Electrical Draftsman – High-Rise Building Construction

Job Summary:
The Electrical Draftsman is responsible for preparing, modifying, and reviewing electrical drawings and technical layouts for high-rise building construction projects. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical design drafting, coordination with engineering teams, and compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layout drawings for high-rise building projects.
• Develop drawings for power distribution systems, lighting systems, low voltage systems, grounding, and cable routing.
• Review design drawings, IFC drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, site teams, and consultants for drawing approvals.
• Update drawings based on site modifications and engineering instructions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, local authority regulations, and construction requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control records.
• Assist engineering team in preparing material submittals and technical documents.
• Perform redrafting and detailing of electrical systems as per site progress.
• Support site execution teams by providing accurate and updated drawings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in high-rise building construction projects.
• Diploma or certification in Electrical Drafting, Engineering Drafting, or relevant field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and low voltage systems.
• Experience in residential or commercial tower projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
