Electrical Draftsman

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong drafting skills and a passion for electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software

- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements

- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members

- Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes and regulations, such as the NEC

- Assist in the development of system designs for electrical wiring and other components

- Utilize software tools like NavisWorks and Revit to enhance the drafting process

- Collaborate with other drafters and designers to ensure consistency and accuracy in drawings

- Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation

Qualifications:

- Associate degree or certification in drafting or a related field

- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings

- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring principles

- Familiarity with building codes and regulations, including the NEC

- Experience with software tools like NavisWorks and Revit is a plus

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
