Electrical Engineer

Falcon Middle East Contracting and Gen. Maintenance SP LLC, is looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and technical specifications.

Supervise the installation of HV and LV equipment, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and isolators.

Implement and enforce safety protocols for high-voltage environments, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and TAQA standards.

Conduct cable route surveys, identifying and avoiding conflicts with existing utilities.

Monitor and supervise cable laying, jointing, and termination activities for underground cables.

Ensure all cable works comply with TAQA specifications, NOC requirements, and safety codes.

Coordinate and support shutdown works in collaboration with TAQA and relevant authorities.

Prepare site reports, progress updates, and ensure quality control on all electrical works.

Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities for project execution and approvals.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (recognized by UAE authorities).

Must have UAE experience in substation and cable projects.

Strong knowledge of TAQA regulations, NOC procedures, and safety codes.

Hands-on experience with HV/LV systems, transformers, and underground cabling.

Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage site teams.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination abilities.

Familiarity with shutdown procedures and project handover processes.

License / Certification

Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).

TAQA competency (will be a plus)
