Electrical Engineer

HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team for a project in Khobar . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supervising electrical construction activities for large-scale projects, with solid knowledge of electrical systems, shop drawing review, material approval, quality control, and compliance with Saudi regulations.

• Supervise and monitor electrical construction site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team to ensure efficient implementation of electrical systems
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify electrical issues and take necessary corrective actions
• Review shop drawings for electrical installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or conflicts between drawings and design documents in coordination with engineers and architects
• Review electrical project specifications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with project requirements
• Evaluate and approve electrical materials such as cables, conduits, equipment, and lighting fixtures to ensure compliance with standards
• Perform quality control checks on materials and installations to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of electrical works
• Review project execution plans, including timelines and milestones, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify installations, and ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations
• Provide technical support to site teams, including clarification of specifications and installation procedures
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including implementation of safety protocols and reporting incidents
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management, including at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and regulations
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
