Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Supervise and monitor electrical installation works, including power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, fire alarm systems, and earthing systems.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
• Conduct site inspections and identify solutions to technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Verify quantities, prepare progress reports, and assist in project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support as required.
• Assist in cost control and material management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and related engineering software.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or villa construction projects.
