Electrical Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring the electrical scope of work to ensure compliance with contract documents and the procedures manual.
• Reviewing, approving, and processing all electrical technical submittals.
• Responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to the electrical scope of work.
• Coordinating and supervising all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities and operations.
• Communicating with the necessary sub-consultants.
• Reviewing contractors' claims associated with their work and preparing recommendations for those claims.
• Reviewing contractors' project record documents that pertain to their discipline. - Managing electrical inspectors.
• Assisting with the inspection of completed work and overseeing the start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Signing off on completed electrical work once all documentation is finalized.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of one year of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a contracting company is required.
• Relevant experience, especially in the GCC region, is preferred.
• Candidates should possess a strong technical background and have a good understanding of electrical systems, products, and materials.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software is also preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable electrical design and construction codes is essential.
• Candidates must demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as a strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
• The ability to review and provide feedback on necessary documentation is crucial. Moreover, candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of specifications and authority requirements, as well as an overall grasp of the project scope within their discipline from initiation to handover.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
