🔧 Position: Electrical Engineer – Home Automation & Light Control Systems

Location: On-site in Kuwait

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Electrical Engineer to join our technical team, focusing on the design and implementation of advanced home automation and lighting control systems. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about smart living technologies and integrated electrical solutions that elevate residential comfort and energy efficiency.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics and layouts for smart home automation systems, including lighting, shading, and environmental controls
• Specify and integrate components such as actuators, sensors, relays, and control panels in coordination with architectural and interior design requirements
• Conduct load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and system optimization for low-voltage and power distribution networks
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and compliance reports
• Collaborate with automation programmers, interior designers, and project managers to ensure seamless system integration
• Oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and post-handover phases
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in smart home systems, IoT integration, and energy-efficient lighting solutions

🧠 Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience in designing and implementing home automation and lighting control systems (e.g., KNX, Lutron, Crestron, Control4)
• Strong command of electrical design software (AutoCAD, Dialux, Revit MEP, or similar)
• Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, BS)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Strong communication and documentation abilities in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Must be available to work on-site in Kuwait
