Role Overview

We are seeking a MEP Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the UAE, a deep understanding of local authorities’ regulations, and hands-on expertise working with SEWA, Civil Defence, and Sharjah Municipality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and coordinate MEP systems for building projects (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, HVAC).
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, technical submittals, load calculations, and BOQs.
• Ensure full compliance with SEWA standards and submission processes.
• Liaise with Sharjah Civil Defence for fire-safety system design, approval, and inspections.
• Coordinate with Sharjah Municipality for permit applications, consultant submissions, and plan approvals.
• Participate in site inspections, testing, commissioning, and handovers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and work with the construction team to resolve them.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 3 years of MEP engineering experience in the UAE.
• Proven knowledge of SEWA regulations, submission, and approval procedures.
• Experience interfacing with Civil Defence (fire protection systems) for authority approvals.
• Familiarity with Sharjah Municipality processes, drawing submissions, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar MEP design tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• UAE driving license is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
