Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the electrical systems, control panels, and automation equipment used in our industrial furnaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heat treatment furnace operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring minimal downtime of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of heat treatment furnaces and related equipment.
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of PLC, VFDs, control panels, sensors, and temperature controllers.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Collaborate with the mechanical maintenance team during furnace overhauls or breakdowns.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and generate service reports.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company protocols.
• Support furnace installation, testing, and commissioning as needed.
• Provide technical guidance for process improvements and energy efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 1-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the furnace or heat treatment industry.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Industrial furnaces and heating elements
• PLCs, SCADA systems, and automation
• VFDs, contactors, relays, and motor controls
• Temperature and process control instrumentation
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Worked with heat treatment plants, sealed quench furnaces, or continuous furnaces.
• Hands-on experience in industrial automation systems.
