Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Attend electrical breakdowns immediately and restore machines with minimum downtime

• Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule (motors, panels, drives, sensors, heaters, temperature controllers, relays, contactors)

• Work on VFDs, PLC panels (basic fault finding), control wiring, power wiring, and panel maintenance

• Identify recurring electrical issues and suggest permanent corrective actions

• Ensure proper earthing, load balancing, cable management, and panel cleanliness

• Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and spare consumption

• Coordinate with production team during machine startups, changeovers, and trials

• Follow all electrical safety practices strictly (LOTO, PPE, isolation procedures)

• Support installation and commissioning of new machines or modifications

• Reduce electrical wastage, overheating issues, and power-related failures

qualification & experience

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical (mandatory)
• 2–5 years experience in electrical maintenance
• Experience in PP woven bags / plastic processing industry is strongly preferred

(If someone has only building electrical experience, they are not suitable—industrial machine exposure is required.)

technical skills required

• Strong knowledge of industrial motors, starters, MCC panels
• Hands-on experience with VFDs and basic PLC troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Experience handling high-temperature heaters and extrusion equipment
• Understanding of preventive maintenance systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
