We are looking for you to become our Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Operations team in Guardian Ras Al Khaimah . The Maintenance Supervisor will assist in leading the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with a passion for excellence in safety, manufacturing, and customer focus. You will drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability. You will also work to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies based on the risks involved while monitoring the Maintenance shift activities- corrective, preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, continual improvements, quality of work and providing guidance to the team. This role will provide critical input for the management team and influence others, positively impacting the organization.
What You Will Do

Establish leadership for the team of 5 or 6 technicians and drive our Principled based Management culture.
- Support the production processes to align and optimize the manufacturing enterprise in delivering value to the business.
- Prepare work procedures, Job hazard analysis, Permit preparations, conducting Rap sessions, running meetings with all the team members and multiple departments which are impacted.
- To assist in the smooth running of plant equipment in shifts by attending the breakdowns, ensuring routine and preventive maintenance carried out at regular intervals, CPSS, Emergency Asset Maintenance.
- Collaboration with Production teams while planning maintenance activities
- Maintaining the EH&S standards by following effective Energy controls, JHA, Risk assessments, meeting with all the stakeholders.
- Undertake effective planning and prioritization of works in the shifts in execution, Handover and Takeover.
- Continuously assess the Talent gaps in the team, performance reviews and motivating the employees.
- Monitor the quality of craft work and provide direction, Coaching, mentoring to crew members to maximize efficiency.
- Review the Work instructions & PMs on regular intervals to improve the efficiency's and cover the gaps.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Significant experience in medium and large manufacturing background (continuous process industries).
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operating plant.
- Knowledge of reliability and implementing precision maintenance techniques to improve equipment reliability by doing PMs, CPSS, Asset care strategy.
- Working knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel, and other PC-based production and maintenance reporting applications.
- Experience routinely utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or other similar problem-solving tools.
- Working knowledge of EAM, SAP where Material management applications are used to search and allocate material consumptions and inventory management systems
- Working knowledge of Work permits such as hot work permits, confined space, working at height where issuing and closing the Permits
- Proven ability to manage contractors: onboarding, scope definition, performance assessment, and ensuring compliance with the required standards.
- Strong collaborator who partners with Process, Area engineers and Safety Engineers to drive and execute Reliability maintenance works such as Breakdowns, PMs, Projects, Contractor works.
- Analyze Data of Equipment failures, Repeated issues, MTBF, make action points and able to complete with target dates.
- Experience of practical hands-on troubleshooting of conveyors, instruments, batching weighment scales, mixing equipment, Furnace Melters, Glass handling equipment, measuring equipment, leading a team of technicians, continuous operating Process/plants, Stackers, Electric forklifts, Utility Pumps, cooling towers operations, Coating equipment, High vacuum applications equipment.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Certifications or hands-on expertise in PLC systems.
- Working knowledge of HMI's, SCADA (GE iFix), Profibus & other Industrial communication systems
- Working knowledge on VFD's, Induction motors, Servo motors, Control circuits, process instruments & calibrations.
- Familiarity with 33KV switch gears, LV switch gears.
- Knowledge of Diesel generators, weighing scales, Air compressors, Utility Water pumps, Vacuum pumps, Stackers
