Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment across the school campus. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply, safety compliance, and smooth functioning of academic, residential, and administrative facilities. The supervisor will lead the maintenance team and ensure all electrical operations meet safety standards and institutional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day electrical maintenance activities across classrooms, hostels, offices, labs, and common areas.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems including wiring, lighting, panels, DG sets, transformers, UPS, inverters, and appliances.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely repairs.
• Monitor power consumption and suggest energy-efficient practices to reduce costs.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, reports, and service records.
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors for major repairs and AMC services.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory electrical regulations.
• Train and supervise electricians and support staff.
• Keep adequate stock of electrical tools, materials, and spare parts.
• Support school events and activities by ensuring uninterrupted electrical arrangements.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Tech/Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical certification (Mandatory).
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in schools, institutions, or large campuses.
• Supervisory/team handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DG sets, HT/LT panels, and safety protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
