Electrical Supervisor

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities on building construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical works including wiring, cable laying, DB installation, lighting, power systems, and ELV systems.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, MEP team, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor workforce productivity and allocate tasks to electricians and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are followed.
• Coordinate material deliveries and monitor site material usage.
• Report work progress, delays, and manpower status to management.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and snagging activities.
• Maintain site documentation including daily reports and work permits.
• Ensure adherence to Qatar Construction Standards and electrical safety practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Electrical Supervisor Certification is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in building construction electrical works.
• GCC / Qatar construction experience preferred.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage.
