PALACES: RED PALACE
JOB TITLE: Electrical Supervisor
REPORTING TO: Chief Engineer / Engineering Supervisor
THE POSITION
Under the guidance of the Chief Engineer, the position will operate, maintain, and repair all aspects of the Palace’s electrical stations, systems, and equipment, in accordance with Boutique Group standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
-
Must meet all requirements of Electrician Supervisor.

Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with 8 years’ experience.

Authorized locally to work as an electrician/technician.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
4–8 years’ direct experience in Hospitality Electrical and Control operation and maintenance.

Entry-level training in BMS, GRMS, Low Current, and building automation systems, with ability to utilize control programs for troubleshooting.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate and inspire teams.
-
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
-
Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
-
Familiarity with Palace management software and systems.
-
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
-
Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
-
Local market experience is an asset.
JOB DUTIES
-
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of GRMS, BMS, Low Current, Electrical Control, Fire Alarm network, PAPX, and related engineering systems.
-
Maintain kitchen, laundry, restaurant, SPA, GYM, mechanical, and electrical systems.
-
Maintain cold/freezing rooms and related equipment.
-
Operate and maintain High, Medium, and Low Volt electrical stations, ATS, generator, and emergency systems.
-
Service, install, repair, overhaul, and replace motors, electrical panels, and commercial/industrial equipment.
-
Complete maintenance work as per MRO, daily routines, utilities records, monitoring, and controls.
-
Monitor performance and adjust electrical equipment for maximum efficiency.
-
Perform preventive maintenance per schedules; conduct safety tests per manufacturer guidelines.
-
Program, repair, and update system programs, including VFDs.
-
Replace defective electrical bulbs, tubes, starters; install wiring/equipment as directed.
-
Carry communication device while on duty; repair electrical circuits and advise Chief Engineer on major repairs.
-
Cooperate with other tradesmen; attend to repairs of all electrical equipment and systems, including new extensions or properties.

Respond to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes; maintain plant rooms, workshops, and technical areas clean and safe.

Complete repair and maintenance processes from assignment to handover, including parts, installation, testing, documentation, and updates.

Operate Boiler plant to maintain system temperatures through Metasys and Auto-Flame (optional).

Understand principles of electrical systems and controls; perform major/minor services and return job sheets.

Fully comprehend building automation systems, GRMS, lighting, elevator, and fire alarm controls; troubleshoot and repair as necessary.

Follow manufacturer instructions, departmental P&P, and Chief Engineer guidance; report issues promptly.

Plan and coordinate with other departments; follow BG repair & maintenance policies and SOPs.
