Electrical Technical Office Engineer

Job responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical systems in data center projects, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and containment systems.

* Review project specifications and design documents to ensure compliance with client and consultant requirements.

* Prepare and follow up on material submittals, technical datasheets, and vendor approvals with clients or consultants.

* Coordinate with procurement to prepare accurate purchase requests (PRs) based on approved submittals and project timelines.

* Assist in vendor selection by evaluating technical offers and ensuring conformity to project specifications and standards.

* Ensure timely delivery of required documentation and submittals to support the project schedule.

* Collaborate with the design and site execution teams to resolve any technical discrepancies.

* Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Ecodial, and other calculation tools for design verification and load analysis.

* Maintain an up-to-date document control system for all drawings, submissions, and approvals.

* Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all engineering documentation and work.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

* 5-7 years of relevant experience in a technical office role, specifically in Data Center infrastructure projects.

* Solid understanding of electrical systems used in Data Centers (e.g., power distribution, UPS, grounding, containment).

* Proficient in engineering software:

o AutoCAD for drafting

* Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

* Knowledge of local and international electrical standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
