Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will work with wiring, control systems, and electrical components to ensure safe and efficient operation in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

The Electrical Technician will perform routine inspections, diagnose electrical faults, interpret electrical diagrams and schematics, and perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities.

Job Description:

• Operation and Maintenance of all electrical systems at the corporate office.
• Monitoring, testing and maintenance of UPS systems and standby generators.
• Monitoring electrical maintenance records, test logs and inspection reports along with identifying and reporting electrical hazards.
• Coordinating with external electrical contractors and service providers when required and assisting in electrical related procurement.
• Support other branch offices for electrical requirements and emergency situations.
• Availability during power failures and emergency situations.
• Assisting during insurance risk surveys, audits and inspections.

Job Specification:

Education Qualification:

• Diploma (DAE) in Electrical Technology from a recognized institute

Relevant Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate, special projects, commercial or industrial systems
• Experience in UPS systems, generators, and electrical power backups is mandatory

Essential Skills:

• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and distribution boards, (LV systems)
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective and preventive maintenance
• Understanding of load calculations, power factor and basic energy management
• Ability to understand AutoCAD drawing and basic MS Word working
