Electrical Technician

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to handle the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical energy meters, MCCBs, and automation systems. This hands-on role involves extensive site work, troubleshooting, and coordination with engineers and project teams to ensure safe and reliable electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, wire, test, and commission energy meters (LV panels, smart meters, power meters).
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of MCCBs, ACBs, and distribution panels.
• Perform cable termination, panel wiring, and labeling according to standards and drawings.
• Support PLC systems with field wiring, I/O checks, loop testing, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with SCADA system installation, communication setup, and device integration.
• Conduct site inspections, fault finding, and corrective maintenance.
• Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and HSE requirements.
• Maintain service reports, checklists, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and supervisors during installations and testing.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or ITI/Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Strong experience with energy meters and electrical panels.
• Knowledge of MCCBs and protection devices.
