Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings throughout the city. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and comply with safety and building codes from start of the work till handover.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings

·     Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine project requirements

·     Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using various testing devices

·     Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with local codes and safety regulations

·     Perform regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

·     Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate electrical work with other building systems

·     Respond to emergency calls and provide timely solutions to electrical issues

·     Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project

·     Adapt to working in various environmental conditions, including hot climate.

Qualifications:

• Valid electrician license
• 7-10 years of experience as an electrician in residential and commercial site
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations in Dubai
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
• Skilled in using various hand and power tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver's license is desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English & Hindi; knowledge of Arabic is is desirable

Work Environment:

• May work in residential projects.
• Indoor and outdoor tasks depending on assignment
