Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician will carry out all electrical installation activities such as cable laying, glanding, termination, panel connections, and lighting/power system works. The role requires the ability to read and follow electrical drawings, coordinate with site engineers and other trades, and ensure all work is executed safely and in accordance with DEWA requirements, project specifications, and approved shop drawings.

Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, identifying and resolving electrical faults, and supporting testing and commissioning activities. The technician must ensure that all installations meet DEWA inspection requirements, assist in authority inspections when required, and rectify any comments raised by consultants or authorities.

The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, reporting daily progress to supervisors, and ensuring strict compliance with site safety procedures and electrical standards.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction projects in the UAE, good knowledge of DEWA regulations, and the ability to work under site conditions while meeting project deadlines.
