Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Cable Work
- Install, align, and secure GI conduits, cable trays, cable containment systems and accessories.
- Pull cables through conduits, tray systems, ducts and trenches following correct routing and bend radius practices.
- Perform cable glanding and termination for power, control and instrumentation cables at panels, junction boxes, and equipment according to standards.
- Dress, route, label and secure wiring inside DBs, SMDBs, switchgear, panels, control systems and distribution boards.
Testing & Commissioning Support
- Use electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeter, meggers) to check continuity, insulation and verify terminations.
- Support pre‑commissioning and testing activities as required by site engineers.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all site HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures, electrical codes and work permit/permit‑to‑work systems.
- Ensure neat, safe, and compliant installation practices throughout all electrical works.
- Coordinate daily work with supervisors, engineers, or team leads.
Skill Set:
Education
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI (Electrical) certification (required).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience in the Gulf (GCC) region required.
- Hands‑on experience in glanding, termination, cable tray pulling and GI conduiting on construction/industrial projects.
- Experience with industrial cabling, panel wiring and termination on LV/MV systems is a strong advantage.
Preferred
- Previous experience working inside Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) or Gulf industrial/oil & gas sites required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, wiring schematics and site details.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
