ELECTRICIAN – FIT OUT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Job Title: Electrician
Department: Projects / Site Operations
Reports To: Site Engineer / Electrical Supervisor

Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in interior fit-out projects such as offices, retail shops, hotels, and residential units, ensuring compliance with drawings, safety standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities Installation & Execution

• Install electrical wiring, lighting, power outlets, switches, and distribution boards
• Install lighting fixtures, emergency lights, and signage
• Carry out cable pulling, conduit installation, trunking, and containment systems
• Install low current systems (data, CCTV, access control, fire alarm coordination)
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics

Testing & Maintenance

• Test electrical systems and troubleshoot faults
• Ensure proper earthing and grounding systems
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, and equipment

Site Coordination

• Work closely with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and other trades (carpentry, HVAC, plumbing)
• Ensure work is completed according to project schedule
• Maintain daily work progress and report issues

Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and site procedures
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and project specifications
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
