Electrician (DAE with Wiremen License)

Job Purpose:

To carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations in compliance with electrical codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective actions.
• Ensure proper functioning of motors, panels, generators, and other electrical appliances.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance with electrical standards.
• Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Supervise electrical work at sites and guide junior technicians as required.
• Record maintenance activities and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Coordinate with other technical teams for smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE – Electrical).
• Valid Wireman License Holder (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical panels, wiring, and industrial connections.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle on-site challenges.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools, instruments, and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and standards.
