Electrician (Factory)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, machinery, and factory equipment.
• Perform electrical work during new factory setup, including wiring, panels, distribution boards, and connections.
• Inspect electrical systems, identify faults, and carry out troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Repair or replace defective electrical parts, fixtures, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Work with generators, motors, transformers, and industrial machines.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and electrical consumption.
• Support in emergency breakdowns and coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
• Suggest improvements in electrical systems to enhance efficiency and reduce energy cost.

Requirements & Skills:

• Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE – Electrical) / Matric with Technical Certification.
• Experience: 3–5 years in industrial/factory electrical maintenance (factory setup experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, panels, circuits, and industrial machines.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and repair of motors, generators, and control panels.
• Knowledge of safety codes, fire prevention, and protective equipment.
• Physically fit, disciplined, and willing to work in shifts.
