- Carry out the tasks inherent to the role as assigned by the Automation Director, with responsibility;
- Prepare quantity take-offs and lists of electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic equipment in accordance with the client’s requirements;
- Develop strategic and innovative electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic projects;
- Analyse awarded commercial proposals, specifications, and drawings in order to size the electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic project, in compliance with the stipulated re-budgeting;
- Support the coordination of the electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic components of the works;
- Gather comments, changes, and/or other adjustments made during the various phases in order to correct the produced documents;
- Organize and archive the developed projects;
- Select the necessary electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic materials and components for project budgeting/execution;
- Resolve pre- and post-sales technical issues related to the development of electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic projects;
- Support and interact with production to ensure the correct assembly of the developed projects;
- Maintain technical contact with suppliers;
- Handle the company’s equipment with care and responsibility;
- Use the personal protective equipment assigned;
- Comply with the requirements defined in the QESMS (Quality, Environment, Safety, and Management System) and contribute to improving its efficiency.
- Prepare electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic budgets;
- Develop requested/awarded electrical and pneumatic projects to meet strategic objectives and estimated budgets;
- Plan and assess the feasibility of electrical and pneumatic projects.
- Select electrical and pneumatic materials and components.
- Create purchase requisitions and record material receipts in SAP for electrical and pneumatic equipment.
