Elevator Sales Engineer

Job Title: Elevator Sales Engineer

Location: UAE

Reports To: Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Elevator Sales Engineer is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and closing elevator and lift modernization projects. The role combines technical understanding of elevators with strong sales and negotiation skills to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify and generate new leads through site visits, consultants, contractors, and developers
  • Promote elevator solutions including supply, installation, modernization, and AMC
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets

Technical & Commercial Activities

  • Study drawings, BOQs, and site conditions to propose suitable elevator solutions
  • Coordinate with the technical team for shaft details, specifications, and feasibility
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals and quotations
  • Follow up on proposals, negotiate terms, and close orders

Client Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales cycle
  • Coordinate with operations and procurement teams post-order for smooth handover
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business

Market & Reporting

  • Track competitors’ pricing, products, and market trends
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates
  • Provide weekly activity and pipeline reports to management

Requirements & QualificationsEducation

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in elevator or vertical transportation sales (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of elevator types, capacities, standards, and site requirements

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong follow-up and closing ability
  • Good knowledge of UAE construction market

Other Requirements

  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Willingness to do regular outdoor site visits

  • Monthly sales targets achieved
  • Number of qualified leads generated
  • Conversion rate from quotation to order
  • Client satisfaction and repeat business
