• Contact insurance companies to verify patient insurance coverage
• Maintain a system for initial and subsequent verification of benefits
• Prepare call notes, initiate or execute the corrective measures
• Record the actions and post the notes on the customer’s revenue cycle platform.
• Use appropriate client specific call note standards for documentation
• Be in the center of ethical behavior and never on the sidelines

Requirement:

• Should have worked as a VOB Specialist for at least 2+ years with medical billing service providers.
• Experience can be anywhere between 1-2 years.
• Good knowledge of revenue cycle, Eligibility & Benefits Verification and Prior Authorization
• Positive attitude to solve problems
• Strong communication skills
• Graduate degree in any field
