ELV Technician needed

Role Summary
We’re looking for a skilled ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems. This role involves working on a variety of systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and other low-voltage solutions. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV, access control, intercom, and structured cabling
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and schematics
• Ensure all installations meet project specifications and safety standards
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members on-site
• Support system upgrades and modifications when required
• Keep accurate records of work completed, maintenance, and service reports
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience working with ELV systems
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, and structured cabling systems
• Basic understanding of networking is an advantage
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to work on-site and handle physical tasks when needed
