Location: Fully onsite position (M-F) at the Worldwide Golf Headquarters in Santa Ana, CA.
The Email Marketing Specialist at Worldwide Golf Shops will develop and execute email marketing campaigns in support of business initiatives. This position will enhance programs to create loyalty, increase retention, facilitate cross sell, and improve overall ROI.
The Email Marketing Specialist leads all creation, testing, and scheduling of daily email marketing and SMS messages. The Email Marketing Specialist builds email and SMS messages and coordinates content in partnership with our Web Merchandising and Creative teams. This role is responsible for implementing customer journey orchestrations, CRM A/B testing strategies including creative, segmentation, subject lines and send times.
Plan, build, and launch email and SMS marketing campaigns that align with Worldwide Golf Shops’ overall marketing strategy.
Partner with internal Creative, E-commerce, Analytics, and Merchandising teams to deliver engaging, on-brand messages.
Manage campaign production - from creative brief and setup to QA and launch - ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
Use data and analytics to evaluate campaign results and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Review metrics to build out regular recaps to be shared with key stakeholders
Conduct A/B testing and apply insights to optimize subject lines, design, and segmentation.
Maintain and update email templates for consistency, mobile responsiveness, and brand alignment.
Collaborate on customer segmentation and personalization strategies to increase engagement and revenue.
Lead and participate in meetings related to content and review for email creative
Stay current on email and SMS marketing best practices and contribute new ideas for testing and improvement.
Support loyalty and retention programs that build long-term customer relationships.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of email marketing experience in a professional setting.
Strong understanding of email marketing platforms, analytics, and campaign optimization.
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience with SMS marketing and customer segmentation preferred.
Familiarity with retail or eCommerce marketing is a plus.
Passion for golf is a plus.

- The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $79,000 per year. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
