Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and results-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to lead and scale our email marketing channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns that increase conversions, repeat orders, customer retention, and revenue. This role requires strong analytical ability, creativity, and hands-on expertise in segmentation and automation flows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement revenue-focused email strategies for acquisition, retention, up-sell, and reactivation.
  • Plan and manage weekly and monthly email calendars.
  • Build automated flows such as welcome, cart abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, VIP, and seasonal campaigns.

2. Segmentation & Personification

  • Segment audiences based on behavior, purchase frequency, cart value, life-cycle stage, and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for personalised targeting to maximize customer lifetime value.

3. Content Development

  • Write high-impact email copy, subject lines, CTAs, and storytelling aligned with brand tone.
  • Collaborate with designers to create clean, mobile-friendly templates or build basic layouts independently.

4. Deliver-ability & Compliance

  • Maintain list hygiene and reduce bounce/spam issues.
  • Ensure compliance with global email regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, India guidelines).
  • Monitor SPF, DKIM, and DMARC performance for strong email deliver-ability.

5. Testing & Optimization

  • Run A/B tests for subject lines, design, CTAs, content, and send-time.
  • Continuously improve campaign results through data-backed insights.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Track key KPIs: open rate, CTR, conversion rate, revenue per email, retention, churn, AOV, and LTV.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports with insights and recommendations.

7. Cross-Channel Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Whats App, SMS, push notifications, paid ads, and social media teams for cohesive messaging.
  • Integrate email workflows with Shopify or similar e-commerce and CRM platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of email marketing experience in e-commerce (India market is a plus).
  • Proven revenue-driven email strategy execution.
  • Strong copy-writing and campaign storytelling skills.
  • Understanding of segmentation, automation triggers, and customer life-cycle marketing.
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Mail-chimp, Omnisend, Active Campaign, or similar tools.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Shopify
  • Experience creating multilingual campaigns
  • Understanding of fashion/jewelry/lifestyle consumer behavior

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
