Endoscopy Nurse In - charge

· Check patient census and staffing.

· Check the list of cases posted for the day.

· Receive endorsement from the night staff.

· Ensure that all arrangements have been made for the various operations.

· Prepare work schedules for the nurses.

· Visit all the patients and know their health status.

· Maintain and check the department register and update it.

· Ensure that the crash cart and medication trolley are ready at all times.

· Take over patient case sheets and treatment procedures from the previous shift in charge.

· Plan the activities for the day.

· Preparation of all autoclave packs.

· Follow consultants on rounds.

· Ensure that all investigations are carried out as desired.

· Follow-up on patient charts and diet orders.

· Receive new admissions.

· Ensure the maintenance of emergency drugs at all times.

· Provide linen for all packs and special dressings.

· Establish accountability for the goods and items used in the wards.

· Train the nursing staff on an ongoing basis.

· Supervision of nurses and housekeeping staff on an ongoing basis.

· Supervise the working of ward secretaries to ensure the proper dispatch of investigation papers and timely change of beds and linen.

· Reports ward activities to the ND,AND,NS periodically.

· Train the staff and monitor their performance regularly.

· Take attendance of all staff nurses/ NAs and in any shortage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
