Al Ummah Contractors LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Snagging Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting residential units, identifying defects, coordinating rectification works, and ensuring that all units meet the required quality standards before final handover to clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct detailed snagging inspections for apartments and residential units, identifying defects, incomplete works, and installation issues.

* Meet clients on-site during inspections, review their comments and observations, and professionally address any snagging concerns.

* Identify and diagnose problems on-site, propose practical solutions, and ensure proper rectification of all issues.

* Prepare clear and comprehensive snagging lists and reports, and follow up with the correction team until all items are resolved.

* Coordinate with and supervise foremen and labor teams responsible for repair and rectification works.

* Ensure that all finishing works, fittings, sealants, joints, glass, panels, and installation details are properly inspected and comply with company quality standards.

* Verify the proper installation and condition of fixings, anchors, sealants, and other finishing elements to prevent future defects or leakage issues.

* Perform repair and rectification works personally, demonstrating strong hands-on experience in finishing repairs and maintenance.

* Manage the entire snagging process from the first client inspection until final handover, ensuring all works are completed to the highest quality standards.

* Maintain proper documentation and regularly update management on the progress of snagging and rectification works.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

* Proven experience in snagging, finishing works, property inspection, or handover processes in the real estate or construction sector.

* Strong knowledge of finishing standards, defect identification, and rectification processes.

* Hands-on experience in repair works and finishing maintenance.

* Ability to deal directly with clients and handle inspections professionally.

* Experience in supervising site teams, including foremen and laborers.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control and project standards.* Good communication and coordination skills.
