Engineer for Inspections

Position: Site Inspection EngineerLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Inspection Engineer to oversee, monitor, and inspect construction/engineering projects in Dubai. The candidate must have a strong technical background, knowledge of Dubai Municipality and UAE construction regulations, and proven on-site inspection experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor construction progress, workmanship, and compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations.
• Identify and report defects, non-compliance, and safety issues on site.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare inspection reports, daily site logs, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Verify materials, equipment, and installations meet approved standards.
• Assist in audits and handover inspections for completed works.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (depending on project scope).
• Minimum 2 years of site inspection experience in Dubai/UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality, DM permits, DCD, and RERA regulations.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple inspections and coordinate with diverse teams.
• Certification in QA/QC or Health & Safety is an advantage.
