Main Purpose:
Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of Gas/Diesel engines, compressors, pumps, and other rotary/static equipment at GGS and well sites, including preventive checks as per OEM and SAP schedules.
Job Accountabilities:
-
Knowledge / understanding of Operation of oil and gas production and other systems
-
Knowledge/ Applications of Process safety procedures like Permit To Work (PTW), SIMOPS, P&ID's, etc.

Responsible to Carry out maintenance jobs as per preventive maintenance schedules for all the rotary & stationary equipment’s installed at various well sites, Group Gathering Stations.

Identify potential hazards and participate in Job safety analysis for all the high risk activities related to regular maintenance, planned shutdown and emergency maintenance and conduct tool box talk before execution of any work with implementation of work permit system for all the jobs.

Ensure process and utility is maintained in a manner that minimises spurious trips and shut downs.

Responsible for planning & monitoring of critical spares, consumables required to carry out the maintenance and avoid delay in maintenance.

Responsible for completion of preventive maintenance schedule within time frame.

Coordinate with inter discipline engineers for smooth operations

Develop interpersonal skill, self-motivated work with minimum supervision.

Maintaining asset with zero production down time.

Support Engineering team for vibration analysis for reciprocating compressors, Gas Engines on regular basis and take preventive and corrective actions accordingly. Identify potential hazards and participate in Job safety analysis.

Perform root cause analysis of all incidents to prevent repetition of failures and for ensuring safe operations.

Move around the field for day to day operations and maintenance activities and report and correct any abnormal situation by implementing LLF.
Skills Required:
-
Strong knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of rotary and stationary equipment.
-
Hands-on experience in pumps, reciprocating compressors, motors, gas/diesel generators, valves, pipeline pigging, and utilities.

Experience in mechanical maintenance of a major Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer plant.

Familiarity with industry codes/standards (API, ASTM, Welding), engineering drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, and work permit systems.

Sound understanding of process safety, compliance, and international practices.
Qualification:
-
Bachelor degree Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years working experience in upstream (E&P) Oil/Gas, Petrochemical or Fertilizer industry in maintenance functions.
