About the Role
The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supporting engineering activities related to construction projects. This role ensures effective communication between engineering teams, project management, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate engineering activities across multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
Provide technical support to engineering and construction teams, ensuring proper interpretation of design drawings, specifications, and standards.
Manage engineering documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, and revision control in line with company and project requirements.
Act as a bridge between design engineers, project managers, site engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project progress.
Ensure engineering deliverables meet project quality standards and comply with relevant codes, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in the preparation, tracking, and updating of engineering work schedules, and coordinate with the project team to mitigate delays.
Organize and participate in technical review meetings, design coordination meetings, and site progress reviews.
Support the process of reviewing and implementing engineering change requests and variations, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Prepare and submit engineering progress reports to project management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and pending actions.
Assist in planning and allocation of engineering resources, including manpower and technical tools, to ensure efficient project execution.
