Engineering Manager, Construction Works

We are looking for a “Engineering Manager, Construction Works ” to be assigned to our ''Commercial Operations' ' department located in İstanbul HQ;

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred),
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a similar role,
• Experience in land-based power plants, ports, marine structures, and terminal projects,
• Strong knowledge of proposal, contract, and technical specification preparation processes,
• Proven experience in managing client relations and technical meetings,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD),
• Strong coordination skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams,
• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively and work on-site,
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

• Ensure the complete preparation, implementation, and coordination of technical requirements in the field of construction engineering for Powerships, land-based power plants, ports & marine structures, and terminal projects.
• Manage all technical aspects of projects in line with customer expectations and commercial requirements, while actively coordinating site preparation and construction processes.
• Serve as a bridge between internal teams and clients, managing technical communications, providing solutions, and ensuring knowledge flow across the organization.
• Prepare and detail the technical requirements of construction engineering during proposal and sales contract stages.
• Analyze, define, and accurately reflect the client’s technical requests.
• Conduct site feasibility studies and technical pre-analyses for projects, providing engineering solutions for construction and port/marine structures.
• Manage technical meetings with clients, assess their needs, and prepare technical presentations.
• Perform site visits in coordination with Business Development and Regional Commercial Management teams, and establish the technical groundwork for construction processes together with Site Preparation teams.
• Coordinate with relevant teams in the preparation of technical specifications, contractor agreements, and operational protocols.
• Provide timely and accurate technical responses to client requests, liaise with technical teams, and manage solution processes.
• Prepare technical progress reports related to construction engineering and coordinate reporting processes with commercial teams.
• Ensure technical follow-up of projects after contract signing, maintaining guidance and coordination responsibilities.
