English Teacher

Job Purpose:

To plan, deliver, and assess engaging English language lessons aligned with the Sindh Board curriculum (or applicable board), fostering students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills while promoting a love for literature and language learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning & Delivery: Prepare and conduct interactive and well-structured English lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
• Curriculum Implementation: Ensure alignment with Sindh Board syllabus and academic objectives.
• Student Assessment: Design, administer, and evaluate classwork, homework, tests, and examinations to assess student progress.
• Language Development: Encourage active participation in reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities to enhance language proficiency.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Resource Creation: Develop supplementary learning materials, worksheets, and activities to reinforce lessons.
• Individual Support: Identify and support students with different learning needs or language difficulties.
• Co-curricular Engagement: Participate in debates, drama, reading clubs, and other English-related school events.
• Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
• Professional Development: Participate in teacher training sessions, workshops, and academic meetings to improve teaching skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the middle or secondary level.
• Strong command of English language and grammar.
• Familiarity with Sindh Board curriculum preferred.
