Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in tax resolution, IRS negotiations, and compliance matters. You will play a key role in representing clients before the IRS and providing practical solutions to tax-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients before the IRS in audits, appeals, collections, and compliance matters
• Handle tax resolution cases including Offers in Compromise (OIC), Installment Agreements, Penalty Abatement, and Currently Not Collectible (CNC) status
• Review IRS transcripts and assess client tax liabilities
• Communicate with clients to gather financial information and provide case updates
• Prepare and review federal tax returns where required
• Develop tailored strategies to resolve outstanding tax issues
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) certification
• Proven experience in tax resolution and IRS procedures
• Strong understanding of federal tax laws and regulations
• Experience working with IRS systems and transcripts (e.g., CAF, e-Services)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills to handle client enquiries and other external communication
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience working in a tax law firm or tax resolution firm
• Prior experience handling high-volume casework
