We are hiring on behalf of a respected regional health insurance provider committed to delivering high-quality, affordable coverage to individuals and families. As an Enrollment Specialist , you will play a key role in supporting membership growth, retention, and compliance by ensuring accurate enrollment processing and exceptional service delivery.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a background in data entry, insurance, or healthcare administration who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Description

As an Enrollment Specialist, you will:

• Maintain and update member data in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, COBRA, CMS, etc.).
• Monitor and process enrollment transactions from various sources including CMS, third-party vendors, and employer groups.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Reconcile enrollment discrepancies using internal systems and external resources.
• Support the open enrollment period and system integration projects by handling day-to-day enrollment tasks.
• Respond to inquiries submitted by agents and internal teams via document management systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless enrollment operations.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in data entry, customer service, or administrative support.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to work scheduled hours and meet performance expectations.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in health insurance or enrollment processing.
• Familiarity with CMS regulations and federally funded marketplace operations.
• Experience working with claims or enrollment systems.
