Medicaid Enrollment Specialist

• Job Title: Medicaid Enrollment Specialist (Onsite)

Summary:
Responsible for enrolling IV-E eligible children in Medicaid within the Medicaid Enrollment Unit. Processes enrollment forms, updates case management systems, reports placement changes, and ensures accurate Medicaid coverage for wards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily Medicaid Enrollment Reports for all 92 counties and assign correct Medicaid categories.
• Complete enrollment updates in IEDSS and MaGIK systems.
• Submit transmittal forms and report placement changes to DFR.
• Request Medicaid cards for eligible wards.
• Ensure proper coding (ward status, authorized representative, correct Medicaid category, and coverage timeframe).

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year experience in Medicaid enrollment or beneficiary services
• 1+ year experience handling HIPAA/confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, adapt to change, and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Federal IV-E Foster Care, Adoption, and Medicaid programs
• 1+ year experience with IEDSS
• Working knowledge of MaGIK and KidTraks

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
