E.N.T Senior Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

• Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, and related head & neck structures
• Perform outpatient consultations and follow-ups
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests (endoscopy, audiometry, imaging results, etc.)
• Provide both medical and surgical treatment for ENT disorders
• Manage emergency ENT cases when required
• Perform ENT surgeries such as:
• Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy
• Septoplasty and sinus surgery
• Tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy
• Head and neck procedures

Patient Care:

• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records

Administrative & Compliance:

• Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and international standards
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Support accreditation processes (e.g., JCI, MOH requirements)
• Ensure proper documentation for insurance and medico-legal purposes

Teaching & Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical staff
• Participate in continuous medical education (CME) activities
• Contribute to clinical audits and research where applicable

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Otolaryngology (ENT)
• Valid medical license to practice (QCHP / MOPH – Qatar preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in ENT practice (post-specialization)
• Proven experience in both clinical and surgical ENT procedures
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting
