ENTRY LEVEL ENERGY SOLUTION SPECIALIST

ENTRY LEVEL ENERGY SOLUTION SPECIALIST - Moreno Cardenas Inc. (MCi) Consulting Engineers – Las Cruces is currently recruiting for a full-time entry-level Energy Solution Specialist. Under the general supervision of the Supervisor – Energy Solution, responsible for acting as liaison between the Company and customers, contractors, builders, and engineers in relation to the coordination of the construction of electrical distribution facilities. This includes managing customer interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction, overseeing the entire service delivery process, and managing related projects.

What You'll Do:

· Possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience to perform essential functions of the job.

· Maintain effective communication with customers requesting new or additional service.

· Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

· Maintain effective working relationships with officers, managers, fellow employees, and the general public.

· Develop and implement customer service strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service.

· Handle escalated customer issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner.

· Collaborate with the design team to ensure customer requirements are met in the design phase.

· Collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure customer requirements are met in the scheduling and construction phases.

· Collaborate with the New Service, Meter Test and Service teams to ensure customer requirements are met in the energization phase.

· Manage customer service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Develop project plans, track progress, and report on project status to stakeholders.

· Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

· Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and code of ethics as well as all applicable governmental laws and regulations.

· Perform other related tasks that are not included but are within the context of the duties defined.

What You Bring:

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

College level course work in electrical power systems preferred

  • Project Management Skills, including planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a strong sense of propriety concerning confidential matters
  • Knowledge of power engineering and electric distribution system design.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Adapt and ability to learn quickly.

  • You can work both inside and outside environmental conditions and temperature changes of extreme cold weather (below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour) and extreme hot weather (temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour); and are exposed to loud noises, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions and oils.
  • You are able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
