Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized
HSE Manager
to join our
BEEAH Abu Dhabi
team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures are being followed on the waste management project. The HSE Manager will work closely with the project team to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them. Additionally, they will be responsible for conducting regular safety inspections and audits, as well as providing safety training to all project personnel.
Key Responsibilities:

Acts as the Business Continuity Manager, responsible for the establishment of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program, implementation, and monitoring as required by NCEMA standard.

Acts as the Fire & Life Safety Manager, responsible for leading the entire team during an emergency.

Conduct periodical site inspections to monitor and inspect compliance of safety measures at site and service delivery as per approved quality inspection manual that aims to achieve and maintain high standard.

Monitor and advise on all HSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.

Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures for the waste management project

Ensuring that all project personnel are trained in health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Investigating accidents and incidents and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
-
Maintaining records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents
-
Communicating safety information to project personnel and management
-
Developing and implementing emergency response plans
-
Ensuring that all waste management activities comply with applicable regulations and best practices
-
Coordinating with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders as necessary
-
Manage all the facilities including offices, yards, stores, and worker accommodations and oversees the provision of required services / facilities.
Qualifications and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field
-
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the waste management industry
-
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
-
Certification in occupational health and safety or environmental management is mandatory (IOSH-Diploma -Level-6)

Certification in Business Continuity Management, Implementor/Auditor preferred.

Background knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001
