Environmental Health Safety Associate

Note: The candidate for this position will be hired on a Third party (HRSG) contract

Purpose of the Job:

To support the implementation and monitoring of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with national EHS laws, company policies, and ISO 45001 standard.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits; follow up on corrective actions.
• Support incident reporting, investigation, and implementation of preventive measures.
• Deliver safety inductions, trainings, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor environmental parameters (waste, emissions, wastewater) and drive sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain EHS documentation, records, and performance reports.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and conduct drills.
• Work in initiatives and implement them.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering.
• NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in EHS (manufacturing/FMCG/pharma/industrial sector).
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, risk management, and training skills.
