Role Description

This is a 06 months contract base role for a Officer in HSE department at S. Zia-ul-Haq & Sons (Pvt.) Ltd located in Karachi. To ensure a safe and healthy work environment on the engineering floor by implementing HSE policies, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor day to dat activities at engineering floors.

· Inspect HSE items such as workers tools & equipment.

· Deliver HSE induction and ongoing safety training to engineering staff , also assure safe working condition at engineering floors.

· Lead & maintain site HSE inspections, reporting, training & incident investigations.

· Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and standards across the engineering floor.

· Ensure proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all employees

· Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure safe operation of machines and equipment.

· Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken to mitigate risks.

· Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, near misses, and training activities.

· Support emergency preparedness, including drills and first aid arrangements.

· Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety culture and environmental performance.

Skills:

· In-depth knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, HACCP, ISO 14001).

· IOSH and NEBOSH certification

· Must aware regarding firefighting & food safety

· Must be Computer literate

· Good Interpersonal Skills

· Good oral & written communication skills

· Must aware in Baluchi/Brohi language

· Good Negotiation Skills

Experience

· Minimum 1 to 3 year as team leader HSE Department

· A background or working in ISO and or HACCP environment would be preferred

Qualification

· Bachelor's Science (B.E, Bsc).

· Rotational Base Day & Night.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 04 months

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
