ERP TECHNICAL MANAGER

Job Purpose :
The job holder ensures the technical integrity, performance and optimization of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment to support operational efficiency and strategic business goals. This role leads system design, development, integration and upgrades while managing infrastructure, database performance and security compliance. By translating business needs into scalable technical solutions the role drives continuous improvement and system reliability across the organization.

Key Results Area :
1.Ensure high availability, reliability and optimal performance of the Oracle application, including servers, databases and application components.

2.Design, implement, and maintain scalable technical architecture for JD Edwards, including server configuration, network connectivity, and cloud infrastructure (where applicable).

3.Manage and oversee the end-to-end process of developing, testing and deploying technical customizations, integrations and reports to enhance Oracle framework.

4.Administer access controls, enforce security policies manage audit to safeguard data and meet regulatory compliance requirements.

5.Ensure the performance, optimization, backup, and recovery of JD Edwards databases to maintain data integrity and availability.

6.Lead the technical planning and execution of system upgrades, data migrations, and new module rollouts.

7.Manage relationships with Oracle JD Edwards vendor and other third-party technical service providers to support and enhance the JD Edwards environment.

8.Mentor, manage, and support a team of JD Edwards specialists including developers, system admin and Data Base Administration for optimal team performance.

9.Facilitate documentation, knowledge sharing with client teams, and stay relevant with ERP trends and Oracle product advancements.

Education Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

Certification in Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One is a plus.

ITIL /Project management certification is a plus

Work Experience

Minimum 7 years of experience working on Oracle JD Edwards and related applications (configuration, implementation and support).

Experience working with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One, particularly in Orchestrator development.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards modules

Proficiency in JD Edwards development tools, such as Form Design Aid (FDA), Report Design Aid (RDA), JDE standard & Orchestrator Workflows, Business services and Master business function

Strong understanding of JD Edwards business processes and modules.

Expertise in integration technologies like SOAP, REST, and Web Services.

Well versed in development methodologies

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
