Escrow Officer

ATA National Title Group is seeking a motivated team player to join our Petoskey office as an Escrow Officer. Ideal candidate must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties include:

• Review and understand purchase agreement and title commitment to determine necessary requirements for closing.
• Obtain all payoffs, bills, and other conditions required for closing
• Effectively communicate with all parties in the transaction to coordinate the closing
• Prepare real estate closing documents
• Collaborate with lender on Closing Disclosure preparation
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to reliably meet deadlines and demonstrate consistent follow through
• Takes pride in quality work
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Minimum 3 years Escrow Processing experience preferred
