ESL School Agent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling, childhood development, and academic advising. This role is essential in fostering a supportive environment for students, helping them navigate their academic and personal challenges while promoting their overall well-being.

Duties

• Recruit international students to increase the student population.
• Maintain an up to date record of the student recruitment and admissions process.
• Reply to and follow up on leads and set up appointments with prospective students in a timely manner.
• Lock down prospects for commitment and lead them through the entire enrollment and payment process.
• Review all student information and ensure accuracy when entering it into the school management system.
• Provide necessary guidance to prospective and current students.
• Be accessible to students in working to help and resolve student complaints and provide customer service.
• Collaborate with the wider Sales and Admissions teams to follow up on inquiries and applications to convert the leads into new students.
• Gather all necessary documents from prospective students and coordinate closely with Registrar and DSO regarding student files.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Experience

• Minimum associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
• Experience in international admissions (Preferred).
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students from various cultures / nationalities.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Effective problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.
• Work ethic
• Team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
