Esports Content Editor & Manager

The Esports Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing engaging video content for our esports events, highlights, player profiles, and promotional materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and the ability to deliver visually compelling content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage from live events, tournaments, and gameplay sessions into polished, engaging videos that meet our quality standards.
• Content Creation: Develop and enhance video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, YouTube, and live streams. CHECK OUT OUR SOCIALS: @PIEA Esports & @TheEsportCompany
• Content Uploading: Upload Top Plays of the Week to YouTube channels and send files to social manager to post across social channels. Vertical and native content with short and long form variants!
• Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives and highlight key moments from esports events to create videos that captivate and inform our audience.
• Graphics and Effects: Integrate graphics, animations, and special effects into videos to enhance visual appeal and convey information effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with producers, content creators, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver videos that align with our brand and vision.
• Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of video content before publication, making necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.
• Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, gaming, and esports to bring fresh ideas and innovative techniques to your work.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in esports or gaming content.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Creativity: Strong creative vision and ability to produce engaging, high-quality video content that resonates with esports audiences.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passion for Gaming: Deep understanding and passion for esports and gaming, with knowledge of popular games, players, and competitive scenes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Live Streaming: Familiarity with live streaming platforms and integration of live graphics and overlays.
• Editing Speed: Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Knowledge of Esports Trends: Awareness of current trends and developments in the esports industry and how they influence video content.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro: 1 year (Required)
• Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
